Position: Regional Sales Representative (outside sales)
Location: Richmond, VA
Compensation: Competitive Base Salary (commensurate with experience), 401K with company match, Full Benefits, Commission, Car Allowance and Performance Bonus
We are looking for a focused, action-oriented and results-driven Salesperson with a hunter mentality to generate new revenue from new clients. The right person will discover, call and meet potential clients in-person, demonstrating the DBA value proposition and build a relationship with the client.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
- Make a significant number of phone calls every week
- Set 8 new appts. per week – in-person meetings
- Building a book of business
- Identify and find new target clients (research)
- New Business Development working with Logistics and Purchasing Managers
- Get contact info. and decision-makers
- Present to decision-makers
- Follow-up and follow-through, close and win the business
Qualification/Requirements/Certifications:
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Unix-based & GoldMine software applications a plus)
Education/Training/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
